October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We accept donations year round for our Cancer Center - using gifts to upgrade equipment, provide patient transportation or help with medical bills; but in October we work harder to grow Cancer Center donations in an effort to increase that fund.

In November, Harrington will participate in Giving Tuesday, which is an international kick-off to the Holiday Giving season. There's Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The following Tuesday (this year, November 27) is #GivingTuesday. This global day of giving is a time when folks focus on their holiday and year-end charitable benefits.

On Thursday, December 13, join us for a Trivia Night and Holiday Party where we will challenge you with the best in holiday trivia, celebrate the season of giving and have some fun all for this great cause. This year, we are also in the process of updating our Southbridge Emergency Department, a project with a total price tag of approximately $5,000,000. We hope that the Emergency Room Renovation project will be one to which you'll consider donating.
